Is it safe for humans?
We understand that new technology raises questions. Here are complete, transparent answers — backed by scientific research and independent laboratory certifications.
Short answer: YES, it's safe
EVSun EVLN uses only visible light — the same type of light as the sun and a standard LED lamp. No UV, no ionizing radiation, no harmful emissions. Confirmed by TÜV SÜD, PZH, and IBPRS.

Questions we hear most often
We take every concern seriously. Here are honest, fact-based answers.
Does it emit UV radiation? Is it safe for eyes?
EVLN operates only in the visible light spectrum (450–600 nm). UV begins below 380 nm. The EVLN spectrum is far from UV. The SIRIM certificate (MS IEC 62471 — photobiology) confirms no photobiological risk.
Can I use it in a child's room / with patients?
Yes. EVSun shines like a regular LED lamp — with the difference that its spectral range additionally supports bacterial reduction. There are no chemicals, ozone, or harmful radiation. Used 24/7 in hospital wards across Poland.
Isn't this like 5G or microwaves — new technology, unknown effects?
Photobiomodulation (PBM) — the mechanism behind EVLN — has been scientifically documented since 1967. Over 6,000 scientific papers describe the mechanism and safety. Used in dermatology, ophthalmology, and oncology. It's not new technology — it's a new application of well-studied light physics.
If it kills bacteria, won't it also kill human cells?
Bacteria are sensitive to this spectrum due to porphyrins — natural chromophores in their cells. Human cells have different structures and don't respond to this spectrum the same way. EVSun lamp exposure is 10× below the threshold that could affect eukaryotic (human) cells.
Can I replace chemical disinfection with just EVSun lamps?
No — and we say this directly. EVSun is a complement to standard hygiene procedures, not a replacement. In medical facilities, disinfection protocols required by law still apply. EVSun works continuously between disinfections, reducing microorganism levels in air and on surfaces.
How do I know this is true? What certifications do you have?
EVSun research results have been verified by independent laboratories in 3 countries: TÜV SÜD (Germany), UGENE Laboratory (Malaysia), IBPRS-PIB (Poland). The PZH certificate confirms hygiene safety. Full PDF documentation available for download without registration.
Photobiomodulation — history of research and safety
EVLN technology is based on photobiomodulation (PBM) — one of the most extensively studied light therapy methods.
Endre Mester — Semmelweis University, Budapest
First discovery of photobiomodulation effects. The researcher observed that low-dose laser stimulates hair growth and wound healing. Beginning of 50+ years of PBM research.
PBM in clinical medical applications
Thousands of clinical trials confirm PBM's safety and efficacy in dermatology. Safety profile: non-invasive, minimal side effects.
PBM in treating eye diseases — safe for retina
PBM is an established, non-invasive biotechnology with thousands of published papers. Used safely in ophthalmology — proof of safety for eyes.
Application of PBM in building lighting
EVSun integrates PBM principles with commercial LED fixtures. Exposure doses are well below therapeutic levels — safe as ambient 24/7 lighting.
