Light without aggressive blue spectrum
Blue Care is EVSUN technology that reduces the emission of blue spectrum (<450 nm) during evening hours and prolonged work under artificial light. It protects the circadian rhythm, supports melatonin production and reduces eye fatigue.
Blue spectrum and health — what science says
Melanopsin receptors in the retina are most sensitive to light at ~480 nm (blue-green range). Evening exposure to high-energy blue light (especially from LEDs with uncorrected spectrum) inhibits melatonin secretion — the hormone regulating sleep.
Blue Care reduces the intensity of this spectral zone without decreasing luminous flux or changing the perceived colour temperature — preserving the full usability of the lighting.
Harvard Medical School research (2014): exposure to blue light before sleep shifts the circadian rhythm by ~3 hours and suppresses melatonin production 2× more strongly than green light. Blue Care reduces this effect.
Three mechanisms of eye and circadian protection
Melanopsin receptor protection
Reducing emission below 450 nm decreases stimulation of melanopsin receptors responsible for circadian regulation and melatonin suppression.
Circadian rhythm support
Natural light has different colour temperatures throughout the day. Blue Care mimics this cycle — cooler at noon, warmer in the evening, minimising chronobiological disruption.
Eye fatigue reduction (CVS)
Computer Vision Syndrome — eye fatigue from prolonged screen work. Blue Care combined with non-flicker reduces accommodative spasms and dry eye sensation.

Blue Care — key applications
Children and infants
Developing eyesight is particularly sensitive to blue spectrum. Children's rooms, nurseries, schools.
Seniors
Reduced ability to filter blue light through the lens. Care homes, geriatrics.
Office workers
8+ hours per day at screens and under artificial light. CVS reduction and improved concentration.
Hospital patients
Lighting in patient rooms. Evening blue exposure disrupts sleep and recovery — Blue Care minimises this effect. Neonatology and geriatrics.
Certificates and measurements
All Blue Care claims are confirmed by independent laboratory testing.
